§ 40-93. Purpose of article.

Latest version.
  • (a)

This article is intended to provide additional guidelines and more precise specifications and standards to ensure that greenbelt areas and other areas intended to be screened by plantings or vegetation, as mandated by the city's zoning chapter, are in fact continuously maintained in a proper manner and to prevent inferior compliance which would defeat the fundamental and aesthetic purposes of greenbelt requirements.

    (b)

The provisions of this article are, therefore, supplemental and not to be construed as limiting or waiving the requirement of establishing greenbelt areas or shrubbery-screened areas as mandated by the zoning chapter.
