§ 14-23. Volume restrictions on radios and other electronically amplified sound systems.

  • No person shall knowingly cause or permit the operation of a radio and/or any electronically amplified sound system, boom-box, portable transistor radio or similar sound device outside the confines of any residence or commercial building within the city when such operation is at a volume setting or calibration so as to produce sound that is clearly audible more than 50 feet from the boat, motor vehicle, moped, motorcycle, bicycle or person which is transporting such sound device.
