§ 8-289. Exemptions from article provisions.

  • (a)

    Any person selling or offering for sale any goods, wares or merchandise on behalf of and solely for the benefit of any recognized charitable or religious purpose shall, after meeting all other requirements, be issued a license required under this article without payment of the fee required under this article.

    (b)

    Farmers and truck gardeners who sell farm products and produce of their own raising exclusively shall be exempt from the requirements of this article.
