§ 22-2. Jurisdiction of district court.

Unless otherwise specifically provided, an activity prohibited by sections 22-464 and 22-465 may be charged as a misdemeanor against an adult or as a civil infraction against an adult or juvenile. Jurisdiction over all civil infractions and over misdemeanors charged against adults shall be in the district court. Unless otherwise specifically provided, the penalty for a civil infraction shall be a fine not to exceed $500.00.
