§ 28-16. Division of assessments.

Should any lot or parcel of land be divided after a special assessment thereon has been confirmed and before the collection thereof, the council may require the city assessor to apportion the uncollected amounts upon the several parts of such lot or parcel of land. The report of such apportionment when confirmed shall be conclusive upon all parties, provided that before such confirmation, notice of hearing shall be given to all the interested parties by personal service or by publication and mailing as provided in this chapter in case of an original assessment roll.
