Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 22-8. Threats and harassment against others.
It shall be unlawful for any person, in any public or private place within the city, to threaten injury to another person or their property, including law enforcement personnel, through the use of words or actions with the intent to intimidate, frighten, or harass the recipient, including the following:
(1)
Cursing or abusing another, or using any violent, abusive or aggressive language towards another person, that person's family or property in a manner likely to provoke a breach of the peace;
(2)
Threats to inflict physical or other harm, punishment, loss or pain to the person of another or to the property of another.
